Cafe Oro di Napoli invites you to indulge in the rich, authentic flavors of Italy right in the heart of Toronto. Specializing in classic Italian cuisine, this charming restaurant at 75 Jarvis St effortlessly blends traditional recipes with a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for everything from casual dinners to special family outings.

As noted by returning guests, the vibe is relaxed yet vibrant, underscored by a tasteful music selection that enhances the overall dining experience without overpowering conversation.

The menu itself is a celebration of Italy’s culinary heritage, featuring standout dishes like the Arancini Di Asparagi—golden risotto balls bursting with tender asparagus, smoked fior di latte, and a dusting of Grana Padano. If you love seafood, the Frutti Di Mare Risotto is truly memorable, boasting a creamy Carnaroli rice perfectly cooked alongside fresh PEI mussels, scallops, shrimp, and clams enriched with San Marzano tomatoes and a fragrant saffron broth. The balance of flavors is remarkable, delivering a dish both sumptuous and nuanced.

Pizza lovers will appreciate the variety of thoughtfully crafted options, such as the Carne E Miele Piccante—a bold and spicy combination of soppressata, housemade sausage, double-smoked bacon, fresh oregano, fior di latte, all harmonized by a drizzle of chili-infused honey that adds a delightful hint of sweetness. Equally tempting is the Tartufo pizza, topped with mixed forest mushrooms, silky fior di latte, and a luxurious black truffle cream that truly elevates the classic white pizza.

Many guests commend the generous portions and the vivid flavors that resonate with Italy’s regional traditions. While some dishes, like the calamari fritti, are noted for a slightly saltier profile, the accompanying horseradish aioli provides a piquant and creamy balance that rounds out the plate beautifully.

Beyond the food, patrons consistently highlight the outstanding service and welcoming environment—features that make Cafe Oro di Napoli far more than just a meal, but rather a memorable culinary experience. Whether it’s a quiet weeknight meal or a lively gathering, this restaurant delivers a satisfying journey to Italy’s heartland through every bite.

Overall: 7/10 The vibes in the restaurant were good, with solid music and extremely friendly servers. The food is pretty much the typical Italian food you'd expect at a restaurant. I ordered the Fried Calamari, which was tasty but a bit too salty. The sauce it came with was good (7/10). I also had the Pizza Oro, which was a pretty normal pizza. It tasted good, but it wasn't anything mind-blowing (7/10). The Bathroom (7/10): It's located downstairs, so it isn't really accessible if you can't do stairs. Otherwise, it wasn't horrible and was kept in decent shape.

Our first time here and it did not disappoint. I went with my two kids (9 & 12), and if you are a parent you know that look waitstaff have when they don’t want kids in an establishment—that did not happen here. Waitstaff were very friendly and personable without being overly attentive. Atmosphere was casual and relaxed. We did not feel rushed. Now the food! The balsamic glaze on the beetroot salad was to die for and excellent soaked up with pizza crust. Pizza was substantial and easily shared between three people; would have liked more basil but who can ever get enough basil? Pistachio gelato was delicate in flavor, good texture, not too sweet; two chocolate flavors were more like ice cream in texture. The cacio e pepe was creamy but not overly rich, the noodles delicate. We shared these three dishes and honestly could have shared one gelato but it was the kids’ first taste of gelato so we splurged. We will definitely come here again on our next vacation!

This is one of the best pasta pizza place. Risotto and Pasta are in good portions. Good atmosphere. Don’t have lots of tables, may be better if you make reservations in advance to avoid long wait. Waiters are always friendly.

I visited Cafe Oro di Napoli near Old Town and had a really enjoyable meal. The restaurant has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere — not fancy, but very comfortable. The Frutti di Mare Risotto was excellent. The rice was cooked properly in a creamy Italian style, and the seafood — shrimp, mussels — was fresh and well balanced. We also tried the Anatra (Pizze Bianche), which worked surprisingly well. The duck was tender and not greasy, paired nicely with mozzarella, red wine poached pear and walnuts for a sweet-savoury contrast. Desserts were solid too. The Cannoli had a crispy shell with a light ricotta filling, and the Tiramisu was well balanced with clear coffee flavor and a subtle alcohol note. Good food quality for the price, with mains and desserts both worth ordering. Around $20–30 per person without drinks. The place gets busy, so reservations are recommended.

PERFECT choice for a quiet and delicious meal. We were taken right in on Sunday evening. The menu had variety and the wait staff worked together to assure customers were taken care of. The meal was one of the most flavorful we have eaten in a while!

We order from here from time to time as it’s close by in the neighborhood. Food has always been great. The mushroom rigatoni pasta is perfectly al dente and the sauce is perfectly creamy. We usually get the grilled octopus but today opted for the calamari fritti. Both are always consistently cooked well and flavourful. Packed with protein. We usually get it to go and they pack it well, arriving in one piece still warm. Service is amazing. I usually call to ask for the chicken add-on to be put on the side and they always are so kind on the phone and helpful. Today we received an extra pizza with a nice note on it. It put a smile on our face and made our evening. Thank you so much :)

Recommend Rigatoni ai Funghi and Frutti de mare!!! They are AMAZING!!! Please try that! And the Anatra pizza tastes good(sweet and salty) which I love it. Because both dishes we order already salty so this pizza can really bring another amazing great food tasting journey !!!
